The Kansas City Metro Northland is home to Fresh Donuts – Barry Road. Originally a strip mall office space, renovation created a cozy place for good eats. This is the flagship store for owners relocating to the metro. Not only did 3F30 aid with construction documents but also the local permitting process. This proved important with the change of occupancy use.
The kitchen layout suited operational needs. The progression goes northward with storage, prep areas, frying, and glazing as well as easy access to the sales area on the end. Directly outside of the kitchen is the employee side of sales. Here, surplus is stored on rack shelving and equipment for final touches are housed. Even in a rush of sales, multiple employees are able to navigate the space with ease and efficiency.
Conversely, consumers are greeted by display cases with copious and delicious choices. The open area of the sales floor allows for multiple people to be served at the same time. Additionally, there is communal seating to the south. Fresh Donuts – Barry Road is a successful business. Long lines wrap the building and the inside is abuzz with smiles and joy. Ultimately, 3F30 is happy to be a part of the journey of a metro staple.
