Frito Lay

Bryan Ruoff was the Project Architect on the Frito Lay Distribution Center in Kansas City, Kansas. The project was over 70,000 square feet of warehouse and 4,000 square feet of office. The building was constructed on a heavily modified pad site that had significant Civil Engineering coordination and large retaining walls. The building layout was modified from the prototype to meet local operating considerations and personnel while maintaining the possibility of adding a second phase warehouse to one side. Design modifications were presented to the owner for considerations to spiff up the front and side entries and make them more attractive than was historically provided and most of those improvements were at no additional expense. The project also included a freestanding vehicle maintenance building that was a full size truck repair shop. This project was designed and constructed while Bryan was employed by Warman Design Group Architects, P.C.
