Gambino’s Pizza

Gambino’s Pizza eyed the Kansas City Northland for a franchisee restaurant.  The 2-bay tenant space is in an existing strip mall.  Since the tenant’s use was an office space, a change in occupancy was required.  3F30 aided in the design process which led to permit drawings for construction.

Coordination was key for this tenant renovation.  Steps were taken to create a design that would save time and cost. This was especially beneficial for the franchiser as they were also the general contractor.  Given the Gambino’s Pizza brand, design elements needed to be met.  However, the franchisee was granted some flexibility with certain materials.  As for the 2-bay space, the existing structure and utilities were verified.  Demolition of the demising wall in between the bays was minimal.  Existing utilities were modified to suit the business without major effort.  In the end, the design proved efficient for a restaurant operation.  Today, the space still operates as a pizzeria.
