3F30 has worked with Hillcrest Platte County on several of their projects over the years. This includes their housing, office, and a couple of their retail locations. In 2016, Hillcrest Platte County established a new thrift store location.
There are many qualities in the design and building that make this an inviting stop for all. First, it is located near I-29 and 64th Street in the bustling Picture Hills Shopping Center. Secondly, the interior is inviting. Consumers are greeted by a entry with large Palladian windows and display area. The space is open and modern with exposed ceiling structure, crisp lighting, and pops of color. Each department is highlight with accented walls and flooring. Thirdly, it is open for community use. The store has community room and break area that can cater for large groups up to 80 people. Lastly, Hillcrest Platte County relies on donations of the community for their procurement operations. To aid this process, the back side of the building has a multitude of dock options for drop-offs. Since opening, the shop has seen a lot of activity.
