Prehistoric Putt – Independence

Get your game on at Prehistoric Putt – Independence.

This entertainment venue expanded into the metro area with a location at Hwy 40 and Noland Rd.  The location was a former media sales retail.  As a result, the size and openness of the space was a perfect fit for putt putt.  After examination of the existing space, it was determined that many elements could be utilized.  For example, much of the existing ceiling planes remained creating zones capping areas of interest.  Additionally, the old point of sales location remained, however, updated to suit the Owner’s needs.  For this reason, new counters were designed to not only handle putting sales but also food and drink.

The Owner designed the courses.  Together with the Owner, 3F30 worked to ensure that courses not only fit but also flowed in the space.  There are 2 main courses plus an “adults only” course in the middle.

Beyond the courses, support spaces flank the west side of the building.  These include a party room, golfing simulators, and updated restrooms.  Another design consideration was the introduction of dinosaurs.  Because of their size, an overhead door was then added to make it easy for the Owner to move them in and out.

Since its opening, Prehistoric Putt – Independence has seen a lot of action.  Furthermore, it has been voted as one of the “go-to” entertainment venues in the metro.  3F30 is happy that they were able to help assist in Prehistoric Putt – Independence’s success.
